Recent Program Updates

If you’re a returning client, this page outlines all current retest options — including pricing updates, consultation lengths, HTMA billing changes, and eligibility criteria for shorter programs.

Several changes have taken effect from 1 July 2025:

  • Previously, the Program Fee bundled together the HTMA test and Program Services. These are now listed separately.

    • If you purchase your HTMA through the clinic, your total includes both the HTMA test and Program Services.

    • If you already have your own HTMA, your total is simply the Program Services fee.

  • Discounts now apply only to the Program Services Fee (not the HTMA).

  • A new 45-minute consultation option is now available for established clients who have completed at least 4 consecutive retests with John (within the last 18 months and have been approved to do so).

  • We’ve rebuilt the entire site to reflect how the clinic works today, including important updates around program timing, expiry, and reactivation.
    If you’ve worked with us before, we strongly recommend taking a fresh look. Even long-term clients will find updated information throughout the new website.

John Bumpus is a Senior Fellow of the Society of Natural Therapists and Researchers (SNTR), an accredited practitioner body with annual renewal based on ongoing qualifications and compliance.

How Long Has It Been Since Your Last Program?

The length of time since your last program affects what type of consultation you'll need. The table below outlines what’s required based on how long it’s been since your last HTMA and consultation. This helps ensure we have enough time to properly review your case and provide updated guidance.

🕒 Under 6 months:

Your Normal Retest Program.

🧩 6 - 8 months:

Your Normal Retest Program plus 15-minute add-on (to allow more time for case review.)

📆 9 - 11 months:

Your Normal Retest Program plus 30-minute add-on (to allow more time for case review.)

📄 12 - 23 months:

A 90-minute consultation is required to resume care after this length of time.

🔁 Over 2 years: Must reenter as a new client and complete full intake.

Note: The timeframes above reflect clinical guidelines for how much consultation time may be needed based on how long it has been since your last program. Resuming care also depends on current client capacity, and if the clinic is full, access may be delayed or unavailable. Please email us to discuss your options.

Payment by Invoice

We don’t offer instant checkout through the website. All bookings are confirmed by email and require a secure invoice for payment. Payment options include:

  • Stripe (credit/debit card)

  • PayPal

  • Bank transfer (Australia only)

Periodical

Integrative Mineral Balancing Program

For established clients receiving ongoing mineral therapy and program adjustments under John’s care.


Includes:

  • Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) – ARL Laboratory, bar graph report only.

  • 45-minute consultation with John to discuss your current health, lifestyle, and HTMA results — because successful program adjustments rely on your input, not just the test.

  • Personalised InMB Plan with supplement recommendations, dosing schedule, and expiry date for your current cycle.

  • Supplement adjustment support is included until your HTMA results expire, as guidance is based on your current mineral pattern.

Total cost is made up of HTMA (AUD$120) and Program Services (AUD$390).

Optional Extras You May Need

These optional services are sometimes added to your program depending on your needs. They cover things like extra consultation time, follow-up sessions between retests, and lab or admin-related requests. Most are only used occasionally, and we’ll always confirm any additional charges with you in advance.

Follow-Up Consultations

💬 Additional consultations are available for active clients who need extra support between retests.

  • Billed at AU$320/hr

  • Your eligible discount (e.g. family or concession) is applied automatically

  • Bookings are available in 30-minute or 1-hour slots

  • Time is billed in 10-minute increments after the consultation, with a minimum charge of 20 minutes

Clients are invoiced after the session based on the actual time used.

Program Time Add-Ons

🕒 Optional extensions to your standard consultation time.

+15 minutes: AU$80

+30 minutes: AU$160

+45 minutes: AU$240

These can be added when you need more time for your consultation. Please request in advance so we can schedule accordingly.

HTMA Add-ons

📊 Profile 2 Report Upgrade AU$50

Optional written report from ARL.

📊 Profile 4 Report Upgrade AU$50

Optional written report from TEI.

🧬 Boron Add-On (TEI only) AU$10

Adds boron testing to TEI Profile 1 or Profile 2. Must be selected before submitting your hair sample.

Admin Fees

📄 Test Referral Fee AU$50

Applies when a referral is provided for practitioner-only or external lab testing (outside of HTMA).

Program Discounts & Payment Details

  • Concession & Discounts

    Support is available for eligible clients

    A 10% discount may be available for clients who hold a valid concession card or are experiencing genuine financial hardship.
    In Australia, this typically includes pensioners, disability support recipients, full-time carers, students, and low-income earners with a government-issued health care card.

    Discounts only apply to Program Services — not to HTMA lab fees or Pathway Planning Sessions.
    Concession pricing is not the same as a family discount and cannot be combined with it.

    If you believe you may qualify, please let us know before your next invoice is issued so we can confirm both your eligibility and your applicable discount rate.

  • Invoicing & Payment Process

    Flexible and secure options

    All bookings and payments are arranged by email, and you’ll receive a secure invoice with the option to pay via Stripe (card), PayPal, or bank transfer (within Australia).

    Most programs can be paid in two instalments:

    Part 1: AU$200 (approx. US$129) per person, which covers your HTMA lab fee and confirms your place.

    Part 2: The remaining balance, due once your results are in.

    Erin will personally send your invoice and walk you through the next steps. There’s no automated system, just a real person making sure everything is clear and in place before your program begins.

What Comes After Periodical Care

Behind the scenes, we’re actively building the next layer of support. While periodical programs are how we currently continue care, they may not be the final step for every client. We’re developing public education on mineralbalancing.org and laying the groundwork for longer-term options.
